New accessible technologies create new methods of work. One of the mutual misconceptions is that the road color should be black. But what if we install white asphalt in downtown, or green in a park, or sand-color road in desert (that one would be hard to define don’t you think). Of course there is still a question of price.
When we compare 5 centimeter black layer with color layer, we find it several time more expensive. But should we put 5 centimeter pavement when 2-3 is enough, or even 0,4 centimeter of color surface treatment can be enough for low and medium traffic roads. 0,2 centimeter is enough for walking and bicycle areas. Now the price is not that frightening isn’t it?
We work with progressive methods in road pavement design for color asphalt technologies. Sertanly nowdays you can find lots of solutions for paving color areas on roads, parking zones, walking areas. But what is the right way to desight which pavement you need and why?
First you need to know that most of technologies are depended on surface application on which they are installed. Thus you cannot use parking color pavement on road, because it could be dammaged by heavy trucks and high speed impact.
Very ofted you can find special road paint for bus parking areas or walking zones which is also can be stable only several months.
